I admit something right off the bat: The Marquis de La Fayette is not writing this blog. But he has a really cool family motto so I figured hey, great nom de plume.
You don't need to know a lot about me.
I'm a Christian.
I think I'm a conservative, but I've been studying up.
I'm a baby buster, which means I'm pushing 60 hard.
I've mostly been a stay at home mom who homeschooled her two sons, one all the way through school, the other until high school. (One is a college graduate, the other is still enrolled in college.)
I coached high school debate.
I make quilts.
I lead Bible study for elementary home school students.
I never voted for a Democratic presidential candidate.
I served on the board of our local pregnancy care center and was chair my last year of service.
I have cheerfully described myself as a single issue voter on this particular point.
